How long does a UK bachelor’s degree take?

Can international students work in the UK?
Many degree-level students can work up to 20 hours per week during term time and full-time during official vacations, but permission depends on the course, sponsor and individual visa conditions.
Can I take my spouse or children?
Most taught-course students cannot bring dependants. Eligibility is mainly limited to qualifying government-sponsored students and eligible postgraduate research students under current rules.
How long is the UK Graduate visa?
It is two years for eligible non-doctoral applications made by 31 December 2026 and 18 months for applications made from 1 January 2027. Doctoral graduates remain eligible for three years under current rules.
Are scholarships guaranteed?
No. Scholarships are competitive or eligibility-based. Students should check the award value, nationality, course, deadline and separate application requirements.
Does part-time work cover tuition fees?
Students should not rely on part-time work to fund tuition. Hours are restricted, work is not guaranteed and living costs vary significantly.
When should I apply?
Begin research around 10–12 months before the intake where possible. Apply earlier for competitive courses, scholarships, research programmes and accommodation.
What is a CAS?
A Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies is an electronic reference issued by a licensed student sponsor after its requirements are met. It is required for the Student visa application but does not guarantee a visa.
Can a consultant guarantee my UK visa?
No. UKVI makes the visa decision. A responsible counsellor can help you understand the process and prepare accurate documents but cannot guarantee an outcome.
